Apple's VRAR hybrid headset is coming soon

In recent weeks, Apple has also accelerated development of the rOS operating system that will be used on the headset, according to other people familiar with the matter. This development, coupled with the board's product preview, suggests the product could debut in the coming months.

    Work on AR/VR headsets has been going on for years, and Apple's first product is thought to be a hybrid headset with a curved visor and a soft mesh that conforms to the face. It's expected to have an Apple Watch-like strap to secure it, and Apple's goal is to make it lighter and more comfortable than other AR/VR headsets on the market.
